SFT Protocol Hardware Infrastructure — Spacemesh Exchange Activity Rules
We are excited to announce that the SFT Protocol has officially launched the first round of rSPD point exchange for hardware infrastructure testing. rSPD is an early point of the SFT Protocol, used for rewards, promotions, airdrops, and more on the BSC blockchain, with the potential for a 1:1 exchange rate to SPD in the future. The SFT Protocol aims to build a diverse rSPD token ecosystem, adding more value to rSPD.
In this first phase of the hardware infrastructure testing, we introduce Spacemesh.
What is Spacemesh?
Spacemesh is a decentralized consensus protocol based on blockchain technology. It aims to achieve high decentralization, high throughput, and high security in a blockchain network. The Spacemesh protocol uses a resource called “space-time” as its foundation, creating a mesh network structure for storing and validating transactions. At its core is a mathematically validated consensus protocol that replaces Proof of Work (PoW) with Proof of Space-Time (PoST) and uses a highly incentivized grid instead of a traditional chain. This protocol allows for high distribution, frequent rewards for independent miners, and high throughput by parallelizing the release of multiple blocks, thus building a scalable, secure, and fair blockchain network that offers efficient and decentralized transactions and application platforms to users.
Rules for Registration and Exchange using rSPD:
According to the Spacemesh epoch rules, each epoch lasts for 14 days. Exchange participants must register and exchange before the start of a new epoch. Registering within the current epoch will not grant rewards for that epoch but will be considered pre-registration for the next epoch, with rewards becoming available after the completion of the subsequent epoch.
Registration Rules:
1.Users who register for the exchange before October 16th will receive rewards starting from the epoch opening on October 16, 2023.
2.Users who register for the exchange between October 16th and October 30th will receive rewards starting from the epoch opening on October 30, 2023.
3.Users who register for the exchange between October 30th and November 13th will receive rewards starting from the epoch opening on November 13, 2023.
Exchange Details:
1.The initial Spacemesh exchange capacity for the first round is 100T and will be implemented in three epochs. If the 100T capacity is exchanged before completion, the exchange will conclude prematurely.
2.User addresses can participate in any of the epochs but are limited to a single exchange opportunity.
3.Exchange requirements: User addresses must have completed one of the following three interaction operations on the FEVM or BSC chain: Mint-SFT, Farm-Staking SFT, Pool-Supply, and pay 10rSPD. This will grant 1T of computational space and eligibility for Spacemesh mining for one epoch (14 days).
4.Subsequent plans to increase the exchange capacity for hardware computational space, including 10T, 30T, 50T, 100T, will be announced in due course.
